We Won’t Let This Stand

Congress just went home without bringing the Dream Act up for a vote. They have left 800,000 Dreamers’ lives hanging in the balance over the holidays – it is immoral and unjust.

The Dream Act continues to have broad public and bi-partisan support all because of our efforts and continued activism. Dreamers are our students, our neighbors, our friends – and our families. We will come back in the new year stronger and more determined than ever. Educators and allies will hold Congress accountable.

The fight continues and we are stronger for our collective action and commitment. When Congress comes back to DC in January – we will be back too.

With deep appreciation for all that you do,
The NEA EdJustice Team
