CEA CALLS FOR OVERSIGHT AND TRANSPARENCY OF CHARTER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATIONS

CEA called on the legislature to ensure that charter schools run by charter management organizations are transparent in their financial decisions and in their policy decisions that result in excessive expulsion rates and practices that push lower-performing students out of their schools.
